Today we're going to be reviewing part number BDW20021. This is the bulldog 7/8" diameter shackle. It's going to have a working load limit of 13,000 pounds with a break capacity of 78,000 pounds. Shackles are going to create strong, sturdy anchor points for ropes, cables, chains, snatch blocks, or pulley blocks. This one's going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to have a nice silver zinc plating on it so it's going to resist rust and corrosion. The diamater is going to measure 7/8".

It's going to feature the screw pin for easy removal and securing. See how easily that disengages Nice threaded design. It's got the nice, large tab here on this side. In the center of that tab is going to be a hole that's going to have a 3/8" diameter. That way you can place something in there that's going to help you gain leverage if needed. That pin is going to give us a diameter of 1".

Again, break capacity of 78,000 pounds. Working load limit 13,000 pounds. A few measurements that we want to go over real quick. Measuring from inside edge to inside edge, it's going to give us an opening size .. Looks to be about 2-1/4".

Inside edge to inside edge here at the narrowest point . It's going to measure 1-1/2". Measuring from the pin to the inside portion right here . That's going to give us a measurement .. It looks to be about 3-1/14". That's going to do it for our review of part number BDW20021.
